and scientists need their findings documented.
It's like a little match made in heaven.
Ephemera, as you'll recall, is something printed,
but not necessarily intended to be kept forever.
Shame really.
These illustrations are gorgeous and worthy of attention.
It may not scream to you across the room,
it doesn't obliquely tell of childhood trauma,
but it quietly plants your feet on terra firma
and opens your eyes to the vast miracle of nature.
F^(&ing scary that.
Today I have five sets for you.
An unofficial Ephemera II . . . .
So lets get right to it, shall we?

Five ways to honor
the biggest mother of them all.

In your vintage parlour |
In your mismatched new construction 'loft' space |
As decor in the town library archives |
In your grandmothers outdated-but-supercool-retro dining room |
Or in an antique oddities workroom |
behind glass and from afar.
God knows I do.

What a pleasure it always is to open your mail and find out that you can have a new, adorable collection from b5Studio. Even though I don´t mind being out in nature as well :D
ReplyDeleteWhat I like is when people come to my house and wander around looking at the walls. It doesn't happen often. But really, they're there for me.
ReplyDeleteWonderful, you are so talented!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE it! Brilliant set! There's ulimited possibilities with that set. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone (and sorry for the delay - RL has been whoopin' my lily white)! I suppose the (now former) picture framer in me will always love pulling together an art set, but it's always a fear that an art set will be a total bust where art is a highly personal thing.
ReplyDeleteWorking slowly but steadily on a new set that is a bit different for me . . . keep your peepers peeled at my side blog for details hehe
I've been sick as a dog all week and this set was just the pick-me-up I needed! ^_^
ReplyDeleteThe Egg Charts are lovely--balanced, clean and symmetrical. I love all of your art collections, you have wonderful taste.
Thank you!
I just wanted to let you know that I love everything you create and share. Keep up the great work!
